A Home on the Web?

So. Here it is. The first post EVER from me, Adam Palmer, official blogging-type person.

Oh, how I loathe the word "blog." Say it out loud. "Blog." Don't you feel a little like you're vomiting?

"Blech."

"Blog."

Still, who am I to swim upstream against popular culture? If you can't beat 'em, join 'em, right?

And so, the beginning of my weblogging days. My wife started up one of her own, which you can view right here. Guess I had to join the fun.

Okay. Stay tuned.

(Blechog!)

Hmmm... very interesting. I may have to do my own blog just so I won't be viewed as an old fogey. Or maybe in spite of being viewed as an old fogey. Whatever. I love the photo you posted. So very authorish.

Yes! Weblog is a little easier roll off the tongue.

I came over from mark's weblog (heh) and I must say, I really enjoy reading your thoughts. So, your book will be on the market soon?

Good luck.

OK duh! I knew your name sounded familiar--I purchased Mooch and I'm waiting for a moment to dig in... (six kids keep me busy), but I will continue to set the goal before me.

Hey, Karen! Thanks for buying "Mooch"--I hope you like it. It probably won't change your life or anything, but it's a fun read, and it does have the sweltering power of the Keefer name behind it.

Yes, "Knuckle Sandwich" is supposed to come out sometime this summer, I think. It's totally different from "Mooch"--funnier, and more emotionally resonant.

And thanks for stopping by. Don't be a stranger, now. Tell your friends!
