...grab a "Knuckle Sandwich."
Yes, draft two of "Knuckle Sandwich" is finally, finally in the can and off to the editor. He will do his thing and then I only have one more week of serious work to do on it before I can declare it complete. And what a relief that will be.
Writing a novel is such an emotional process for me, especially the second draft. The first draft is easy: you just put your head down and go. The second draft requires careful consideration of EVERY WORD. It begins to weigh on you when you realize you have 60,000-plus decisions to make.
Anyway, it's done now, and I have my 31st birthday out of the way, so I'm ready to truck on with life.
By the way, I wish I could show you the cover, but I can't. Yet. Still, it's awesome.
More to come!

This Christmas, Hold the Ones You Love
Sterling is 2 1/2, and it looks like he'll be spending yet another Christmas without his family (i.e. us). Oh well. At least he has this photograph to hug.

A Home on the Web?
So. Here it is. The first post EVER from me, Adam Palmer, official blogging-type person.
Oh, how I loathe the word "blog." Say it out loud. "Blog." Don't you feel a little like you're vomiting?
"Blech."
"Blog."
Still, who am I to swim upstream against popular culture? If you can't beat 'em, join 'em, right?
And so, the beginning of my weblogging days. My wife started up one of her own, which you can view right here. Guess I had to join the fun.
Okay. Stay tuned.
(Blechog!)
